Willys M38/G704 Military Jeep
The Willys M38 was a 1/4 Ton 4 x 4 Utility Truck manufactured between 1950-1952 with a total production of 45,473 units and replaced the WWII models MB and GPW. The electrical system was upgraded to a 24 volt system which required dual 12 volt batteries connected in series. Its ignition and electrical systems were waterproof for deep river fording. The whole air intake and axle system was fully vented to allow for proper operation under water. It was powered by the L134 "Go Devil" 4 cylinder engine rated at 60 h.p.
The following photos are of my 1952 Willys M38. It is all original and is equipped with the correct radios, antenna, and mine detector. This jeep is driven frequently and displayed at shows and in parades.
